The electrification of agricultural machinery offers huge benefits across all areas of application. The e-motor requires much less maintenance when compared to conventional combustion engines, regardless of whether they run on diesel or petrol. The reliable components made by REO enable significantly extended maintenance intervals, or can even be operated without any maintenance at all. This means therefore that the e-motor pays for itself both in terms of its reliability as well as its costs.
REO was able to impressively demonstrate the technical feasibility of its products in a research project commended by the German Agricultural Society, (DLG, Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft).
Cost-effective and reliable operation as well as durability are both extremely important in agriculture. Even the most precise of manoeuvres pose no problem right from the outset. This represents another major benefit compared to combustion engines, which are complicated and restricted as a result of their power curves being speed-dependent.

Solutions for e-mobility
In order to charge products with active and reactive power, REO offers ohmic, inductive and capacitive loads in line with the required application and usage conditions. These loads can be implemented in different stages, either activated directly on the load or via coordinated interfaces. There are various options available to control, visualise and transfer measurement values. These include, among others, the control and exchange of data via PC, PLC or standardised industrial interfaces. The operating mode can also be set here using the button or touch screen panel on the device, or via remote control.
